windows media player in stereo?

Hello All,

I tried searching but nothing came up for what I have a question for.
I am trying to listen to music on my 6700 but with the headphones it only plays on the right speaker instead of both. Do you all think its just my phone or some kind of setting? I have the plugin adapter for it but that is not working neither.
Thank you all:)

Download this cab file here and put it on your device then install it. Open programs and then "Advanced Config". Navigate to tab "Bluetooth". Uncheck "Use joint Stereo". Make "Sample rate" 44100, "Bit pool" 60 and "Max bit Pool" 60.

Hope this helps :)

Will this work with Non Wireless Headphones?

Ah, no it only affects Bluetooth, which is the only time music is played in Mono. If only one side is working then you got a bad set of ear phones... I still use the cheap ones that came with my first 6700... seems to last pretty long.

Then you have a problem with the headphone jack. You can either take it a part and try to fix it or you can try and get it replaced from VZW. Don't tell them the real issue though. Come up with a godd reason. like a software issue...

Check your adapter!!!
I've heard of people using the wrong version of an adapter and losing a channel of audio. make sure you've got an adapter with 3 black rings (separators) around the plug. If your adapter only has 2 black rings, you've got the wrong one. Radio Shack sells the correct one...sorry, I don't remember their part number though.
