Right on JB. Are you noticing any differences in speed/stability? Also, which radio are you including? 1.41?

Thanks!

I really can't wait till the new release! :D Will you include the whole verizon rom too? or will we have to get the extra cabs and stuff ourselves? Thanks!

Had an issue where an email kept being repeatedly sent to a girl I had responded to in which I had said 'Yes I would love to play with you'.
That was to answer her question of if I wanted to play tennis with her tonight.
lol
She said she received several copies over the span of a few hours. I had just downloaded a new version (?) of Windows Live so perhaps it was corrupt or virus ridden, but regardless- I hardreset and am now waiting on your next rom before I set up my phone again.

What I mean is this. Before creating my ROM, I have taken many OEMs out and put a few in. In the SYS folder, the Office folder contains ppt, excel and word. Why not remove this folder and have almost 3 megs free in the ROM for other stuff? Has anyone done this? Or how about taking powerpoint alone out of the folder? And if I did that, what files would have to be removed?

i actually use the mini-office quite a bit myself so its not really something i want to remove. Also, with over 1000 downloads, i am extremely hesitant to remove items (even if i dont use them) because im sure there are people that use this rom that do use programs i dont such as wm5newmenu. The only removal thus far is the groupsms, and replacing it with the wifi hitchhiker. the outlook integration of that program is quirky and crashes my phone when i sms over 100 people.

stability wise, i dunno really, it has not once crashed on me, seems a LOT more responsive. it was crashing handyswitcher a lot though, so i opted to move to the HTC X-Button application. Its not as pretty, but i have yet to have it hang like the handyswitcher does when an app goes awol (like TCPMP).

off the top of my head change wise... i put in an easier contact sort, i have it clear the recent docs on soft-resets, updated memmaid to r2, replaced handyswitcher with x-button, cleaned up the initial today-screen to look nearly identical to wm6, a bunch of shortcut cleanup, changed the default start menu crap, updated picturemail with a more intuitive OEM, changed the voicecommand OEM to one from colonel because my OEM was dated and causing issues with a few people. uh...... dont remember the rest but its nice.

The new release will be 1.2h the h is for hybrid as this kitchen is a 3.3 driver base with 3.5 core files. hope to be ready by this weekend

Thanks JB for all the detail. Interesting that you had the handyswitcher issue as I had it also in 1.1 and removed it when I cooked the ROM.

Given all the battv issues, I plan on not installing that, especially since it gives me no screen real estate since intellisync puts itself in the bottom of the screen anyway :(. You leaving that in still? I recall a bunch of people went to some other battery monitor?

i dont have issues with it and the fix for the very few people that were having issues can easily change.... i also think that with the new kitchen and updated drivers, the issue has resolved itself.

Right on. Saw you started uploading already. Well done JB!
