rally: what is happening? you cant find the nba file?

Rally1 06-12-2007 03:06 AM

No I am just an idiot and hadn't run CreateROM.
Next i'll be asking where the "any" key is ;)

fitbryan 06-12-2007 03:13 AM

1) Im talking about the registry entry u posted in the top of this thread for Verizon users.

MMS, vz users *MUST* enter their phone # at this key!!!
Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader]
"X-VzW-MDN"="Your10digitnumbergoeshere"

The above key exists, however there is no ["X-VzW-MDN"="Your10digitnumbergoeshere"]. SO, I went into the MMS settings, and it has the SPRINT server listed? Mind u I flashed the VERIZON ROM.

2) Did not work. Found the key, changed, soft reset, still shows.

3) lol my bad I was clicking on everything but the lil sun. bingo.

I actually cant figure out why the vz version reads SPRINT, but it does indeed work on vz. its really bizzare, if anyone figures it out in my kitchen let me know so i can correct it.

the MMS settings are taking place in the RGU file for the carrier. in this case

\BigJ's_Reloaded_Kitchen\OEM\Optional_J_zzVerizonE xtended.ROM\

the RGU file in there makes the server settings for MMS for verizon, the actual MMS OEM package does not have an RGU file.

just a heads up.

2 - intellisync.... send me the cab file, ill find the stupid thing.

1) ok so should I set the MMS settings to 'automatic' instead of 'manual' which has the Sprint server listed?

2) I will send it now. I DID find an entry right where u said it'd be called 'SyncSrv' with a Keep value of 1. Changed that to 0, but on reset it puts it right back to 1.

I don't see it under programs, or as an option on the today screen. I see 'running programs' under start menu, but I am talking about the program that lets you see whats running with little icons on the today screen. I thought it was in the helmi kitchen, but perhaps i am mistaken.

oh that, ya thats o2 stuff, the only o2 in my ROM is the lastcall plugin, sorry. I just tested that program, it is AWESOME, you can be sure it will make v1.1r haha.

just a small update on the path to 1.1r
-fixed comm manager hard button shortcut
-added o2 running programs today plugin
-changed out btd.dll (just in case... see kitchen bugs thread)
-updated IM+ to r4.36 to fix todayscreen plug and closing on minimize(random)
-added power meter so you guys can see what is draining your battery

Hard resets appear to have fixed the problem! Thanks for the help!

this is not needed w/ my kitchen, you should be able to unrar... click build, let it finish, createrom, and then you have an NBA in the temp folder all ready BigJ style. Move that nba from the temp folder and move it to the @--- directory, run NBA 2 NBF and choose the bigj.prj file, and hit encode. You now have a flashable NBF file

ill get to the other stuff later. but if you PLEASE spend some time with it before jumping to the boards, you will figure it out, my kitchen is as simple as it can get

yes, call firewall ONLY requires NET2.... you can uncheck my hybrid, you can find the other two .NET (1 & 2) checkboxes at the bottom of the system section

Thanks... I've flashed a few ROMs, including yours and I certainly appreciate the work you put into them.
RE: the above post... does this mean that we don't have to select the Sprint .prj file and will it then have the Sprint customizations included?

Update: Rebooted computer and started clean... consistently getting the "BuildImgfs.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error. Here are the details from the error message: AppName: buildimgfs.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: buildimgfs.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00001f51

No nk.nba is getting created.
