Change alltel 6700 to verizon
 

Hey all,

After browsing pdaphonehome and HoFo, it seems like this is the appropriate forum to ask this question. I've tried searching, but could not find any helpful information. So a little guidance would be appreciated.

I got an Alltel 6700 from my brother and would like to switch it to verizon. I currently have an Moto E815 and iPaq 2210 that I've flashed so I'm comfortable with that process and could do an ESN clone (if possible). I've got QPST and similar software. So could someone describe the process for me or offer some links. Thanks for the help.

im kinda in the same boat as you, but with a sprint 6700. my best bet is to sell the sprint one and buy a vzw one

You require an old working ESN of Verizon and have to Change $SYS.ESN with new ESN and new ESN Checksum

then using Qualcomm QPST Service Programming Module you have to Change the Network Code and Mobile Country Code with Primary and Secondary Channel Aligned to Verizon.

My Recommendation is to Sell Alltel and Buy Verizon this is the easiest and legal act.
