ive seen this before...

But dont quit remember the answer to it lol. I know we as apache users can change our esn, and i was wondering if i were to change my esn to a verizon phone, then flashed the verizon rom on my sprint apache, would it work right on their network? Im thinking about jumping ship, and dont feel like paying another $300 for a phone i already have...

I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure that both Sprint and VZW have their own databases of esn's.... then again, if you change it to the esn of an existing vzw phone..... hmmmm...

I dunno.......

I have an Alltel phone that is on the Cricket Network. When I called Cricket to change my ESN to the PPC's ESN... they did it right away, said I wont have waranty and bam! Instant Cricket PPC6700!

nFiniti, cricket doesnt care who's phone you use, whereas sprint and vzw do. so im just trying to save money, i may end up, when i get my replacement, keeping it in the box and trying to sell it on ebay, then buy a vzw one, easy as pie. thanks guys
