Using PPC 6700 on a diffrent touch screen?

I was looking for a new stereo for my car and realized that it would be dumb to buy one with Navigation and all that stuff when my phone has all that. Is there a way show the PPC screen on another screen and have the touch capabilities.... ? I would love to simply be able to access music, nav and video through the phone but see it on multiple screens etc.... is there any type of device to do that?

USB ??

Maybe check out USB devices that can be attached?

You can get USB TV Tuners, not sure if you can link this to the PPC...
I doubt it will be easy, but not impossible.

Anything is possible, given enough time...(and effort)

unfortunately, that would be, the chipset doesn't support host USB.

I think you would have to be looking at a connection through Bluetooth, WiFi, or god help me for saying it... IR.

I would expect IR to NOT be the solution, I expect the same form WiFi. However, I would expect something out there could do it with Bluetooth. If you have a tablet pc, you could do it (I believe) with one of the MS utils...

i saw someone in the 6600 forum on pdaphonehome doing this with a 5" touch screen in his car. He found a program that would display pocketpc2003 on a computer and the touch screen used usb and drivers to convert the touch into mouse clicks. I don't know if he got it working successfully. Do some searching over there, you might dig it up.

thanx for the help guys.... actually warrior cookie you are right with your idea. I wanted a solution were i did not need a PC, but it looks like its the only way. My first PPC screen was smashed while getting into the car, and i was desperate to back the phone up onto my ppc. I found a program called Pocket Controlller that when docked it shows the PPC on the PC screen. I think maybe I,ll just go head and not use a middle man, and go head and just use a PC with Tablet PC edition. Thanx for all the help.
