I have Vista, and Outlook 2002 won't install! Help please!
 

Ok, so the Outlook 2002 that came with my XV6700 won't install on my PC. In fact, ActiveSync wouldn't even install and I had to go download something called Windows Mobile Device Center. I guess it's like the Vista version of ActiveSync. Anyways...I NEED outlook and the version i got won't install cuz it was made for XP.

Is there any other way for me to obtain it legally?

looks like you need to upgrade to a newer version of office. If you have office 2003 or 2007, they install just fine afik, but other than that good luck. maybe try running it in compatability mode.

Office 2002 is not support in Vista. You will need to upgrade.

Yep - a credit card works fine.

If you have a Fry's near you, buy an OEM version of Office 2007 - about half the price of retail. There's a Home Office or Student version available (not sure of the exact name - they have several versions, and retail and OEM versions not the same). Newegg also carries OEM versions.

Thy dosent this install what errors is it giveing you? I have outlook 2002 (Disc from Sprint) on my Vista ACER laptop with SyncCenter and DeviceCenter it works fine.
