Wrong ROM on 6700!!!
 

Hey guys, a few months back I had the bootloader issue happen to me, couldn't do anything nothing i tried worked did all the steps this useful proved but still nothing, so i put her in a box and forgot about it. Now i woke up this morning and said lets try it again, followed all the steps for mtty1.42.zip and ran the updater from the No_ID RUU files folder and you know what it worked!!!!! Now I am on Telus, and as I smiled at my good fortune, I froze in horror to watch the Bell Mobility splash screen appear, ok no panic i"ll wait till it loads then I will rerun the proper Telus rom and I'm good to go , well I tried it and it doesn't allow me basiclly it says wrong version, I know i need to revert back to the stock telus rom, to maybe get back on track but I can't find it anywhere, is there a work around or ability to say format the rom and start from sratch ??

Any thoughts would be great

stick it in bootloader and try as many roms as possible

As i've played a little more with I was able to flash the telus rom which was great, but something didn't feel right so I did a hard reset and while the Telus rom was install and once it came up with the Bell splash screen, I figured it would over right the old rom but guess not. Soom it seems that I have mismatched Rom's going, not sure what to do now, like I said I cann't find a Telus Stock to make this right

the thing is I haven't activated the phone!! wanted to do the rom make sure all was well then swap, not a big deal if i swap online though just

woah u cant activate on a custom rom..... i would find a telus shipped pronto

So basicly I need to find the Telus Stock Rom to before I proceed with anything then ??

try swapping the nvm.htc file to one from your new provider like i posted here:

may work.

swap a telus nvm.htc file onto your phone using efs explorer, then run the telus software updater from link above. :)

sorry folks for all the replys, but i just had another thought that may help you out, you can try doing whats in this screen shot i took, it has worked for me before also.
