After reading the PPC Geeks thread on the PPC Slider I thought Id share a few toys if anyone is interested. All Ive really done is package them for eeasier use.

iLock is actually Slide2Unlock 1.091 by A_C with a reg mod for the left softkey and a few ini tweaks. I tried v1.14 but don;t have much need for the new stuff so Ill leave this one up as the "Clean and Simple iLock".

iContact (updated 5/28/07) is a contacts slider similar to the iPhone (very basic but cool)origin unknown. Also reg tweaked but for the right softkey map.

WM6 Spinner is just that. A cleaner version of the waiting spinner, origins also unknown.

Have fun

my Icontacts are not working

Nice work. BTW, I believe that Slide2unlock from xda (A_C's) no longer needs to be assigned to a button. Actually, I never have assigned it. It should invoke when the power button is pressed or the device wakes.

Do you have any contacts? The only failed experience I had was just prior to sync when my list was empty. iContact started but remained black till I populated the wm contacts list.

TY Col Salute! :)

Can you go into a bit more detail regarding the power button and S2U? As far as I can tell (whic h does not mean much) they arent related. Are you by chance mistaking S2U for onlock?

If anyone wants a cab without the left softkey map let me know. Same for iContact.

Once agian if anyone wants to make a OEM feel free (hint hint lol)

On my device, S2U launches every time the phone goes idle or the power button is pressed. Actually there are random exceptions, but it tends to work pretty well. Here is my reg settings.

Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\Slide2Unlock]
"ShowAppointment"=dword:00000001
"DateFormat"="dddd', 'MMM dd yyyy"
"TimeFormat"="hh':'mm tt"
"Slide2UnlockPath"="\\Windows"
"ACBlankScreen"=dword:00000000
"ACOffLCD"=dword:00000000
"ACIdleStart"=dword:00000000
"BlankScreen"=dword:00000000
"OffLCD"=dword:0000003c
"IdleStart"=dword:00000001
"AutoStart"=dword:00000001
"WallpaperLandscape"="\\Windows\\GFX\\Res\\wallpaperL.bmp"
"Wallpaper"="\\Windows\\GFX\\Res\\wallpaper.bmp"
"Speed"=dword:00000003
"VGAfix"=dword:00000000
"CloseApp"=dword:00000000

Slide2Unlock's new version works as Colonel describes. By default he has the close on exit option set to off, so that the ilock program is always running, and therefore is invoked when you press the power button or the phone is left idle for a period of time. If you change that close on exit option to on, then that behavior will not occur. Also, he has recently moved all of the settings to the registry. I prefer the .ini as it is easy to find and change, but the registry may read faster, and I understand this newest version is pretty fluid.

Anyone know what happens to the Slide2Unlock program when a call is incoming? I tried the regular slide.exe and the popup for an incoming call never made it to the foreground.. therefore not allowing me to answer the call.. has this been fixed?

Perasite 05-29-2007 01:21 PM

I'm running the latest version, and on an incoming call, I get the regular caller ID notification. I can press the talk button or left soft key to answer. Even when the phone is powered off, it will turn on, with the lock program in the background and the caller ID in the front. Answering the call works fine.
