joystick not functioning
 

new phone, installed aku pr6.. everything was working fine for about a week and now the joystick isnt doing anything when i try to use it?

any ideas?

A common hardware issue. What happens is the d-stick gets pushed too hard at some point and becomes either non-responsive or hyper-responsive.

Take it back to the place you got it and have them replace it with the insurance you got with your $600 phone. Put the OEM ROM back on before you do so- that will also give you the opportunity to make sure the ROM isn't the issue.

damn...... i dont have a back up program and this is my 3rd phone this month.... weak....

You can download a trial version of Sprite Backup or Spb Backup. If you like either of them, you can activate them. I believe both of them will work with full features through the trial periods.
Spb is simpler to use but a little less customizable.
Sprite works well, costs a little more but take a little effort to get set up correctly.
