How do I make a custom settings cab?
 

I have searched here, pdaphonehome, google, etc., but i can't find instructions on how to make a custom settings cab. I am hoping to set one up to decrease my phone's downtime when I reflash to different ROMs. Hopefully, it would include the ability to change the device ID, backlight settings, and other little things. I know how to have it install my own programs on a hard reset, but I'm looking for general settings.

okay, finally found it. should have known i was want reg entries.

Is it best to just export the entire registry (of course having already backed up the original) and edit it, or should I only add the items I want changed in a file that would be executed after a hard reset?

Also, is there a list anywhere of where to find the appropriate reg keys for given settings? I'm not sure what to search for.

Look up Pocket PC Installatin Creator v1.9. It will create cab files for settings easily.
