Hardware Button Problem
 

I hope this is not going to be an ongoing issue. My "joystick" broke. SO I took apart my backup apache and replace the circuit board with the 4 way button panel membrane (just replaced the whole thing)

Well it broke again just 2 months later. (its stuck "down") and keeps trying to "activate"

is there a software way I can DISABLE the joystick? (waiting for replacement from ebay) phone is very hard to use while its like this.

You should be able to reassign that button. Go to: Start\settings\buttons If that don't work I'm pretty sure there is a program out there that reassigns buttons... If I can find it ;)
