ppc 6700 as a webcam?

is it possible to use the camera on the 6700 as a webcam, say for instance, on yahoo or msn? I been wondering that for a long time. Not that I would, but it seems like it should be possible.

Yahoo uses some kind of java applet to run and view a webcam. If that applet could start the camera what could prevent it from functioning as a webcam? Maybe not enough horse power, or maybe its the non-java incorporated 6700.

You want CoolCamera which allows you to use the 6700 as a webcam (connected to a desktop/laptop, not mobile).

Presently there is not enough upload capability for doing video upstream. Wait for EvDO RevA late 2006/2007 and you'll need a new PPC for that.

speaking of bandwidth, how come the new htc phones have the video cam on the front for video conferencing, if your not able to use it on a 3g or evdo network? strictly wifi probably.....huh? btw last night I found a program that lets you stream video from your home computers webcam to ur ppc, called Mobile Home Cam.

Was checking the requirements for Mobile Home Cam and noticed Windows Mobile 5 was not listed. Has anybody tried this with a Mobile Windows 5 phone/pda? Preferably of course with the PPC-6700?

Thanks
