Battery Status Icon in AKU3.5

I've search through a few threads, reading every single page and CTRL-F'ing for "battery" and I have not found a single way to get the AKU2.2 Battery Icons back, or even pre-AKU2.2 icon that's in the bottom right corner.

Does anyone have a definitive way to get either back? or both? I dont want to run another piece of software when it should be just a registry setting.

Thanks!

the ones in the tray at the bottom?

Yeah, it's a reg setting

There a a ton of cab files here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=257415

That do the various reg settings for you, but all its doing is

Hide/Show battery indicator in Task bar

If you wish to hide the battery indicator in the task bar on some devices, you can set:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 0 (DWORD decimal)
And to show:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 1 (DWORD decimal)

You may need to soft-reset if just changing the registry doesn't bring it back.

I think you need to soft reset using an application.. I always do and I never have issues..

AH HAH!!!! I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell

and delete the DWORD ShowTitleBarClock and soft reset using an application reset, and boom.. the time goes to the today screen and the power icon comes back!!!

That's this

HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 0 (DWORD decimal)
And to show:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 1 (DWORD decimal)

You need to soft reset your device using an application, vs sticking the stylus at the bottom.. supposoedly it does not write to the registry if you do it that way.. I can confirm that it's worked perfectly if you use a program to soft reset your device.
