text doesn't show from who
 

whenever i recieve a text message from somebody it puts the 1st word of the message as the "sender" and the rest of the message follows as normal.. Can someone help

I'll bet you flashed with Helmi_c WM6 pre made ROM. Hard reset then soft reset before carrier customization trash starts.

so is that what I need to do hard reset then soft. any patch for it or anything.. something in the reg need changing?.. you are right, thats where I got it from

Sorry there is not. I really would reccomend building your own. It is very easy and I have a kitchen video tutorial. But if you must / want to stay with that old WM6 ROM you need to Hard Reset then go through Screen setups and when you get the message for "Customization installing in 4 seconds" do a soft reset. This works for everyone on like every carrier I have seen.
