hmm... For making ur device Partially SuperCID (Install any rom, official or not from any operator, but some bootloader command is still locked) try this patch:

1. Explore phone with QPST (EFS Explorer)
2. copy file NVM\NVM\nvm_htc
3. Hex edited the string VZW__001, or SPCS_001 or any other operator u currently hv then change the String to SuperCID.

to
http://www.imagehosting.com/out.php/i669957_ModCID.PNG

4. Copy back the modified file to device (nvm_htc).
5. Done... U will be able to flash any rom and any operator rom u like.

Hemi in xvi32 my nvm_htc looks nuttin like your pics
But the new rom rocks

I dont know if its just me, but when i use luv2chill sprint OEM or the verizon one that you included, none of the ## codes are working ><, come to think of it, smartdial isnt building in either... hmmmm

EDIT: flashed 3 more ROMS, smartdial still not popping up, ill reflash your test r3 tomorow and report back.... weird....

the files for it are all located in /windows/ so the OEM package is building in properly, it just wont load.... the ## not working either and i went back and used my old package that i KNOW works, and still nothing. Grrrrr

going to bed its 5am ><

There was no need to decipher the setupdll to fix this. Simply adding the provxml from my older MMS package creates the MMS mailbox. There's no need to run any cab file or anything.

One of these days I will do a writeup in the wiki about provxml and how useful it can be. Think rgu on steroids. :)

Hey since you're flashing the new rom like crazy, and I've not seen it answered yet (unless I missed it) but does this new kitchen free up internal store that's not used by the OS rom? Or is that partition still fixed? Conversely, if you totally load up the OS ROM can you end up with less internal store?

Big J... I think you should take a rest, u flash ur device like crazy there.....lol...

The combination of file support (u must know what i mean) and MMS should be match thats all... I though that I told u about that while we chat yesterday...

Btw thanks a lot for speed things up Big J, and also Colonel, Luv2chil and all of you guys involved...

Btw about setup, yes, proxml and its variant will be a lot more better, just like luv2chill said... hopes that luv2chill will post a wiki page for it soon, it will be very usefull compare to guesin what reg will be apply to the *.hv...:)
while waiting maybe this is a good start:

Im still getting the"country id error". Ive tried the colonels noid.exe from the final 3.5 and have moved the ruu.conf from helmis r2 version. Still the same issue. Any other ways around this problem? Im using a 3.5 rom from March. Forgot whos version as I haven't flashed since then.

I am having some weird lock-ups with R2. Anyone have a link to the R3 version I can test out?

Also the WModem fix Helmi_c did not work. It got rid of the Open Com errors, but I was still unable to connect to my pc, both Vista and XP alike. I also tried to play with the BT PAN and internet connection sharing feature that is included in the ROM and again just could not establish a connection to the PC.

Also one other thing, with the R2 ROM I was unable to use some of the VZW features like the #778 and ##3328772 to update features there. Was not important or needed, but I am sure that was not included in the ROM since it was pretty generic to work on all providers.

Update: Found R3. Will test and report back

Works great on my 6700, the best ROM yet!

This is the best ROM for the 6700 by far, don't get the Pocket IE loss of connection anymore.

from inside the folder you unrar Helmi's rom to Run the HTC64 extended rom tool click decode
click the ... button to the right and it should say nk.nbf highlight that click open then click next click ok then in the window where it says Fat 16 file change the nk.fat to nk.nba click decode after it is done click ok
now click encode click the ... button on right and highlight your carrier .pjr file
click open, then next click encode then click ok to overwrite rom then ok fat file too big then click ok on encode sucessful popup then click exit Now use the ROMUpgradeUT in the folder
