But the new rom rocks |
I dont know if its just me, but when i use luv2chill sprint OEM or the verizon one that you included, none of the ## codes are working ><, come to think of it, smartdial isnt building in either... hmmmm
EDIT: flashed 3 more ROMS, smartdial still not popping up, ill reflash your test r3 tomorow and report back.... weird.... the files for it are all located in /windows/ so the OEM package is building in properly, it just wont load.... the ## not working either and i went back and used my old package that i KNOW works, and still nothing. Grrrrr going to bed its 5am >< |
There was no need to decipher the setupdll to fix this. Simply adding the provxml from my older MMS package creates the MMS mailbox. There's no need to run any cab file or anything.
One of these days I will do a writeup in the wiki about provxml and how useful it can be. Think rgu on steroids. :) |

The combination of file support (u must know what i mean) and MMS should be match thats all... I though that I told u about that while we chat yesterday... Btw thanks a lot for speed things up Big J, and also Colonel, Luv2chil and all of you guys involved... Btw about setup, yes, proxml and its variant will be a lot more better, just like luv2chill said... hopes that luv2chill will post a wiki page for it soon, it will be very usefull compare to guesin what reg will be apply to the *.hv...:) while waiting maybe this is a good start: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms889522.aspx |
Im still getting the"country id error". Ive tried the colonels noid.exe from the final 3.5 and have moved the ruu.conf from helmis r2 version. Still the same issue. Any other ways around this problem? Im using a 3.5 rom from March. Forgot whos version as I haven't flashed since then.

I am having some weird lock-ups with R2. Anyone have a link to the R3 version I can test out?
Also the WModem fix Helmi_c did not work. It got rid of the Open Com errors, but I was still unable to connect to my pc, both Vista and XP alike. I also tried to play with the BT PAN and internet connection sharing feature that is included in the ROM and again just could not establish a connection to the PC. Also one other thing, with the R2 ROM I was unable to use some of the VZW features like the #778 and ##3328772 to update features there. Was not important or needed, but I am sure that was not included in the ROM since it was pretty generic to work on all providers. Update: Found R3. Will test and report back |
Works great on my 6700, the best ROM yet!
This is the best ROM for the 6700 by far, don't get the Pocket IE loss of connection anymore.
