Re: Free Internet
Im sry but I will have to jump on the badwagon to say WiFi is the only issue and you can have all of your mail POP3'ed except hotmail/msn/live i think.

Re: Free Internet
NOTHING is free. Get over it and either pay for a data plan or use the WiFi. Asking to cheat and get something for free is like asking for wares or how to change ESNs in my book.

Re: Free Internet
I agree. This is one of the dumbest threads I've seen in awhile on here, and I fustrated as I some times get with the countless repeat threads, these types agrivate me more!

Re: Free Internet
you can use the internet from your pc when it's connected (backwards internet sharing)
by the way, at $15 it's really worth it. not only do you get inernet, but google maps, email, tv..... |
Re: Free Internet
Yeah, if you have Sprint. Verizon used to have it at 45 a month. Then for the 6800 on up they got 30. I might get that. It is true unlimited on Verizon now. That was what really held me back before...

Re: Free Internet
Well back to the topic...
Not from a cellular carrier (unless you are a very gifted talker annd can get them to toss it in your plan). But Wifi works well, and when you are connected to activestink with a usb cable, and my personal favorite, bluetooth will work to access the net, assuming you have blutooth on a laptop or something that has i-net access. It's a small pain to set up, but once it is, it works nice... |
Re: Free Internet
WiFi works really well, I have a plan with no data because I don't want to pay the extra $30 either, but there's no way to hack to the broadband networks. If you are in a WIFi city, as I am, it's easy to find a hotspot. But if you are working and need access to work email you could always ask your boss to pay for a portion of your service, or pay for it yourself and write it off at the end of the year. The only caveat with WiFi is that you have to be somewhere you can pick up an unsecured network or get a key to a secured one. Battery drain is also an issue, but if you are sporadic in your usage of Wifi you should be fine.
