Verizon MMS INOP

I have the Verizon XV6700. I installed the 3.5 rom from Kirvin which is really clean. The only issue I have is the MMS is inoperative. I can not attach a pic or video. If I go to MMS and click " new " nothing happens. I will not open a new message. I've seen alot of people posting this same problem. I tried to install a registry editor to try some of the tricks I 've seen but I can't find one that works. The editor doesn't show up on my phone but is shows that it's installed when you go to the " add/remove" programs.
Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

Please read this thread:http://www.ppcgeeks.com/verizon-mms-...led-t4470.html

you dont want to install any other mms programs...not sure but i think it messes up the mss software. all you want to do is install kirvins clean and simple. when you are dont and it says to click on the screen to finish and it opens your today screen and the little white box pops up counting down from 3 to install the ext rom...softrest so the verizon ext rom does not install or this wont work. then make the reg edits and in connections change it and add the #777 info then change server info in the mms and there ya go...MMSing away. or...read the thread posted above...

I need a registry editor that works. I installed the rom, I didn't let the verizon custom install onto the phone. I installed the registry editor and it's not showing up, unless I'm doing it wrong. I go to file explorer, then my mobile device. It shows all the folders but not the registry folders and I set the options to show all files

What registry editor are you trying to use?

There should be a PHMregedit icon in your program folders if you installed it correctly. Did your phone show the install screen when you installed it?

it installed on my pc and showed that it installed on the phone via active sync. there was no comformation message on the phone and there is no Icon in the programs folder
