Replacing ppc6700

I have a ppc6700 that is giving me some problems. I also have the $7 extended care policy. Is Sprint replacing these phones with Moguls yet?

I got a refurb 67...late Oct...just before upgrading to the TP.

My plan was to have a good working phone for backup which I thought was going to be a 68 but they still had 67's in stock. 8(

Yeah, I tried to get a 6800 outa a broken 6700 through Tech support but they have plenty of 6700's and VZW stores did too. Plus if you don't buy the phone from them they sometimes hassle you.

I'm kinda surprised they are still giving out refurb apaches... i had both of my 6700's replaced with moguls over a year ago with no hassle... walked in and walked back out 10 mins later with a new mogul still in the box on both occasions

seems like as long as ppl return 6700s, they'll have them to recycle....man, this is sad, i've been waiting to get a mogul from my 6700.

Yeah, I thought about that as well. I even had a deal to get a Mogul if I renewed my contract, but when some idiot manager saw the first phone activated as quitment meaning it didn't come from them they refused to do something bout it. I even talked to a special person that weedahoe gave me. I didn't have Asurion so I don't know how you deal with them. But my buddy who gave me my first 6700 gave me his old 6800 since he got a replacment. Nothing is wrong with it at all, just two small nicks at bottom. I got it all tricked out, but I plan on getting it replaced soon, just so I can have a spot less one. Oh and I also called tech support and made them think I bought it at a store for full retail price and not two year contract. They activated it as a brand new phone! So calling for replacments will probably be easy!

Hahah, that was so long. But I can't help but brag when I get Verizon back for their stupid jerky managers. Haha.

Basically if you bought the phone from them force them to give you a mogul. Actually, what I wanna see is some one get a touch pro or Diamond out of an Apache! Tell them "My friend has the Mogul and it has gotten replaced 4 times for overheating issues", or whatever. Can I please get the newest phone that I won't have hassles with?

they have plenty of refurbs to give away because the quality control on them sucks. I'm on my fifth refurb with unbelievable problems (artifacts on screen, buttons not working, buttons pushed in).

I honestly was glad my 6700 broke the first time thinking i would come out with a mogul, now I'd feel lucky just to have a refurbed 6700 with no problems!

Strange, the refurbs Verizon is giving out are almost top notch. I only got one with a broken key. All of them were in great condition. They sold well too...

Through the service & repair center, as long as there is no liquid or physical damage on the circuit boards or physical damage to the phone, if they have to order you a replacement, they should be able to order you either a Touch or Mogul from the advanced exchange warehouse.
