HOW TO UPDATE THE PRL ON A SPRINT PPC-6700
 

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS

HERE WHAT IGOT 2.06.00 ROM VERSION

THERE IS A 20227 PRL UPDATE AND JUST WANT TO ADD IT. DONT KNOW IF THERE ARE AN UPDATE FOR THE ROM VERSION. I AM A NEWBIE; PLEASE DETAIL

First let me say that all caps is known as shouting and kind of rude if u ask me.

To update call *2 tell them to flag ur account for a prl update. Hang up, dial *2 and it should update itself. ;)

There sure is. Just type PRL Update in the search option. But you would need to talk to Sprint any way to get the code to unlock your phone for manual update.

If they flag your account, is it always flagged and will always automatically install OTA? or do you have to call and manually have them flag it each time?

You must be flagged each time. Once your phone acknowledges successful download of a PRL the flag is reset.

If it wasn't this way you'd never be able to get through to a rep on *2.
