Is there anyway to fix the stylus?

I just got a replacement from asurion and the stylus just kinda sits in the antenna. My old one used to click in and wouldn't fall out unless I pulled on it, not hard or anything but I had to pull on it. This one just kinda slides in and with any movement just slips out. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You should have kept that stylus. I have several because they always give them to you on replacments but they say to keep yours, IF you're gonna send your old one back. I only have one that locks though. I used that one on my everyday Apache, never came out.

Had the same problem. If you can deal with the stylus having a little arch to it, it works great. Just give it a slight bend. Always has a snug fit in the antenna.

Yeah, if its a 6700 we used to slightly bend ours too to make them stay. I only lost one and after bending them I never lost another again.

Try lightly heating the plastic before making the slight bend. Less chance of snapping the top off of a 3 pack of stylus, like I did.

damn I can't bend mine. The one I had before was light and this one is kind of heavy and really hard to bend.

I've had the same issue with no luck bending the metal part. If you insist on bending the metal part, put it on a vice to lock it down well, then use your hand or some other object to give it a slight bend--STAYING AWAY FROM THE PLASTIC TOP, because it will surely snap.

The thing that has worked best for me is to put a very small drop of super glue where near the top of the metal just before the plastic begins. Rough up the metal a little with something sharp. Let it dry overnight--it needs to fully dry. Then, if your little drop is too big, get some sandpaper or a woman's nail file and file it down a bit.

To clarify, rough up the metal BEFORE putting the drop of super glue on. Also, I've found the non-gel, liquid super glue works best.
