Hmm... I don't think verizon can feed PRIs that way, but I could be wrong.

In any case, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Most PRI updates are very minor.

How does one get the radio update to 1.12 or newer? I have a VZW xv6700 running clean and simple 3.5 and the latest rom update from UT Starcom. My radio is still v1.10.

Good question, I'd like to know how to update the radio as well. While we're at it mods, "why" should we update the radio? Any real benefits?

There is no newer Verizon radio than 1.10. You already have the latest one.

Thanks for the info. Just wanted to make sure I had all the newest stuff. Love my xv6700 so far. I think I use it for downloading and listening to podcasts more than anything.

Ahhhh, well I'm not so sure about that. I am on Verizon, last official update was AKU 2.2, but before January of this year, and I have PRI version 1.12.002. My PRL version was 50768, just updated to 50800.

I do run the *228 thing about every other week to update the roaming profile. If you press 1 after you dial, it'll update your PRI, if you press 2 then it'll update your PRL for you.

So it may be true that there is no Verizon radio newer than 1.10 available in an official ROM, there is a newer one with their OTA programming.

*Edit, nevermind, Radio is indeed 1.10, PRI is a seperate line.
