6700 vs ?
If you had to pick another SPRINT phone besides the 6700, which would be the closest to matching up with it?
|
the verizon 6700
j/k I wouldn't take any others. I love this phone. If I were to change, it would be to the 6800, but if that delays to October, then there is no sense changing for a long time. |
my 6700 is quickly falling apart and I dont know if i want to wait till October. So is the treo 700xw the next best phone? how about the ip 830?
there has to be a second place phone. |
IP-830W is the only other sprint phone I would be willing to take in exchange for my 6700. I have never even seen one of these in person but it seams like it is the only other PPC that Sprint offers that is comparable

Thank you, finally an answer. I'll look into it.

Sorry, I thought you were looking to jump ship for the sake of jumping ship. I would definitely not go with the Moto Q, but I'd consider the 700WX. Can you do insurance? Did you get it less than a year ago? If so, maybe you could do a warranty exchange. There wasn't a whole lot of info in that 1st post, so I'd have given more info if you had given me more to work with.

Ok so I have two choices.....ip830 or 700xw. Since i never really use the WiFi on my phone either of these are equal?

I know, the OP didn't care. I almost got one of these until I realized it had no WiFi. I like that it has a regular SD card slot. And that there were upgrades available for it before the HTC devices. (Well, the HTC devices never got the upgrades and this did, so in a way that's cheating... ) I do like the format of the hardware. |
I have owned the Verizon SCH-i730 the same thing as the i830 except for the fact that i830 is international. I don't know if you plan on flying overseas???
Personally, I loved the i730. The phone was extremely fast and the keyboard was much easier to use. (thumb orientated). The only problem with the phone was that it does not come with a camera. So if your into taking pictures, or even want the ability to do so don't buy it. Just letting you know. I personally am waiting for the Samsung i760 which is scheduled to be released any time now. Now this is a phone worth waiting for. Good luck. |

Which i760 were you referring to? This one: http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/06/s...i760-hands-on/ or this one: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/smartphon...uty-206778.php The second one looks like it's an older article, but both look good. |
