Outbox to send Texts

So i have been gone off this forum for a bit, but I recently got a replaced 6700 through a sprint store, (was kinda hoping that i would luck out with a 6800) and needless to say i lost all my programs on my old one...thing is is that i saved some of my programs like the threaded text messages, but now when i am in my messages and click to respond, i type my text and then send it, well it looks like it sent because it adds to the conversation window but i go to my outbox and there it sits, and it wont send until i click resend, then send and then it actually sends the text out.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Thanks

Well I know on mine I have the Palm Threaded SMS and when I hit send the first time I watch for the EV to change to 1X and then I turn it off. Thats how I know mine is sending. Try that on yours and make sure it is or isnt doing that.

When i send the message from the conversation box if that makes sense, it doesnt switch from EVDO, but when i go into the outbox and click resend -> send then it goes to 1x and then back to EV

Yeah, I understand what you are saying and it sounds like it isnt sending until you are forcing it to. What threaded app are you using and do you wanna try the Palm?

I am using i guess "threaded sms"..it worked on my last 6700 but this one it doesnt seem to. Ya i basically have to force the text out of my phone so i am not quite understanding it

did you rip and reload it? Only other thing I can think of is the dreaded hard reset.....so IDK what else to try on that one. Sry.
