Just Curious about "Necessary" ExtROM for carriers
hi again,
I just re-read Colonel's sticky on the Official List of Ext Roms for each carrier, and I was wondering: when you use the kitchen to cook a ROM, do all the necessary cab files automatically get installed? I assume it does. does the same thing occur when you go back to the official stock ROM (e.g. the latest Sprint stock ROM for the Apache)? All necessary cab files auto loaded in the right spot? |
Re: Just Curious about "Necessary" ExtROM for carriers
Yes it doesn. I have mie set up to not install anything. I don't use anything from VZW.

Thanks! It sounds like I'm doing all I can on my end,
Whatever's happening might have something to do with needing a new A-key, something Sprint will need to supply, from what I understand (weedahoe's suggestion, and it sounds like a good one). I'm assuming Sprint can supply this? |
Re: Just Curious about "Necessary" ExtROM for carriers
Yes. They generate a new a-key.
