I will be giving a powerpoint Presentation in the upcoming future. I was wondering if i can use my PPC-6700 to change slides? What useful features can i use my PPC-6700 for other then viewing powerpoint slides? I would like to use it to its full potential

Thanks
Joseph

I played with it once and it seemed pretty basic - designed for viewing and displaying slides and slideshows.

What do you mean by "change slides"? Edit them? DIsplay the next in a slidehow on the 6700? PC? Remote control?

Yeah like a remote so i can point the IR at my IR on my laptop and chang eto the next slide rather then getting a remote that just does that.

I dont know im basically wondering if my PPC can do other stuff with powerpoint then just view the slide show on the device... Just seeing what power the 6700 has :-D
Thanks

Unfortunately, the IR port on the 6700 is pretty weak and doesn't work well from a distance. There's a great program called NoviiRemote http://www.novii.tv/ that will let you control all sorts of devices, but because of the weak IR Port I couldn't change the channel on the TV without being in direct line of sight and less than 5 feet away. Even then it only worked half the time.

The IR port on the 6700 is really only designed for beaming data between 2 devices that are sitting right next to each other.

r u talking about something similar to that Motorola Q commercial? The one where the guy walks into the meeting, turns on his Q and the slides are beamed to the projector which is then shown on the screen? U trying to do something like that?

well that would be cool, what about bluetooth? could you do some control through that connection?
