A2DP with Moto Ht820 skips like crazy. Help?
I have a sprint ppc 6700 with the combined kitchen aku 3.5 firmware. I paired it with my moto Ht820 and run songs on wiindows media player. It skips about 80-90% of the time. Is there a way to fix this?

hello i also have the ht820 and i had to have my 6700 replaced and after putting everything back and repairing the headset i found the skipping dropped quite a bit so try hard resetting another solution that may help is to get conduits pocket player it helps with the skipping big time hope this helps

Use a different player, I suggest MortPlayer, works perfectly with my Jabra BT620s, where Media Player skips for 10-15 seconds before playing, and continues to occasionally skip after that.
Every stereo BT headset skips worse with MediaPlayer, but works better with MortPlayer or TCMP. |
I have a ht820 and it rarely skips. I'm using the latest kitchen ROM.
The HT820 can be firmware upgraded. Look on the inside of the headband. The latest rev is SYN0948D. If yours is less than rev D, do a search and you can find the firmware to update it. I "bricked" mine once but was able to recover it. Follow the directions closely and don't muck around. Robb |

I tried both Mortplayer and TCPMP, the skipping drops from 90% of the time to about 60%, while it is an improvement, it is still impossible to enjoy the music.

Try a softreset before activating the headphones, with both WiFi and Phone turned off, even if just as a test, and then use Mort/TCMP and see how that performs. |
hey...
try this... it worked well for me... apply these registry tweaks first to ur aku3.5 and then soft reset after a bit... try with mort player for success... else d/l this free player called pocket music and use it... it works amazing provided ur wi-fi is not being used at the same time... tweaks HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd Add "Priority256 "= dword:60 (Use Dword Value) HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/AudioGateway/Capability (Dword:69)(Default is 37) HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/AD2P/Settings/BitPool (Dword: 60)(Default is 30) Keep in mind that if one of the above entries is not present, you will have to add them also follow a routine when connecting bt stereo. first close progs and activate bt on device... then activate headphones... then open player on device to end go sequentially backwards... hope this helps...
