How many of you will consider the 6800

I'll admit - I'm surprised that the 6800 is being released with WM5. No matter what they say, I wouldn't trust Sprint to release WM6. I'm curious how many here will get the 6800 - I figure that is the only way it will get an update to WM6.

I wont.. I think it's absurd that it's got wm5.. wtf sprint!?!? the 6800 is going to be outdated like as soon as it's released... sprint are fools..

I'm not going to bother with the 6800. Our phone is much more customizable (read: hackable). Unless they give it WM6 and some killer features that make it worth dumping this goldmine of fun, I'm not going to waste my money on a rewarmed version of what I already have.

I sure would like to, looks cooler, no external antenna (big for me what can i say), but not sure its worth it since i basically have everything the 6800 has right here in my little toy already.

Granted getting WM5 sucks but with any luck there will be an update from Sprint, HTC, or PPC shortly. Hopefully I will have mine befor the end of the month.

I'm all over the 6900 - the 6800 turned out pretty icky after all (very minor hardware gains over the 6700.)

I'll be buying ASAP. If anyone's interested in a good deal on my 6700 on the launch day, PM me. Lots of goodies go with it. Never dropped and always had screen protector (virgin screen).

YEP ME TOO.. I will be there first day.. to get my 6700 "replaced"..

Perasite 05-01-2007 07:51 PM

I'll be getting one for sure (then I can screw up my 6700 every day if I want!) Right now, I can't play very often, cuz I actually have to be able to use it!

Glossman 05-01-2007 08:34 PM

I'll be there opening day. My 6700 has some serious miles on it, so it's time for a new phone. I'm looking forward to not carrying this enormous brick around anymore.

As for WM6, well, I'm sure Colonel will have something cooking really soon.

And that brings me to a point: If most of are going to upgrade the ROM anyway, why worry about what OS the phone comes with? It's not like most of here have a factory ROM anyway!
