PPC6700 > Mobile Router > iPod Touch?
AT&T does not have 3G where I live and probably won't have it for quite a while. I have a PPC6700 on Sprint Sero. I use internet sharing to connect my laptop to the internet, and I would like to do a similar thing with my iPod Touch 2G. Since the only way to get on the Touch is through WiFi, I was thinking of connecting the PPC6700 to a mobile EVDO wireless router. Anyone have experience doing this? I would appreciate hearing experiences and getting hardware recommendations. I was thinking of buying the Cradlepint PHS300

Re: PPC6700 > Mobile Router > iPod Touch?
Just use wmwifirouter, and it will turn the ppc6700 into a wireless access point/router for you. Alternatively, if you have certain routers which can run dd-wrt, you could, in theory, configure it so that you can use the rndis device (assuming the router you have has a usb port). Best method though, is using wmwifirouter. (0.91 is the last free version, and easily available).

Michael, you rock! That works perfectly. I don't think I would have come across this without your help. Thanks.

Im getting an iPod Touch 2G in a couple days and I wanted to know if this same method will work with my HTC Touch Pro, or is there an easier/better way to do this?
