Texts/Calls/Voicemails etc.
Going to upgrade, just need to know if there is a way to save texts, call history, and possibly voicemails? I honestly would rather have the texts saved more than anything, is there a way to do this? Waiting for my phone to arrive shortly and want to make sure I can do it! Thanks in advance!

Re: Texts/Calls/Voicemails etc.
Voicemail should be saved with your carrier's service and not tied to your hardware, but rather the phone number. If you are currently using another pocket pc/phone, Active Sync or similar should be able to save notes and text messages (not positive on the text messages). Call history I don't know.

No, ActiveSyc won't do Text Messages. Use PIM backup. Or SPB Backup.

I use PIM backup. Its quick and easy, I have it on my memory card, no need to be install too.

Is there a way to back up the texts from the computer? My screen is broken and I cannot install/run any progams. Thanks!

Re: Texts/Calls/Voicemails etc.
Isn't there a program out there that allows you to use your moniter at the ppc's screen. May want to give that a try, can anyone giveme a hand remembering what it's called?

The idea revolving around seeing your home screen on a computer monitor sounds promising, but still awaiting something that is certain to work.

You can view your phone on your computer and control every aspect of the phone with your mouse and keyboard. It will take screen shots and video. |
