AKU 3.5, Vista, Bluetooth, Internet Sharing
 

Hello,

Installed Kirvin's 3.5AKU on my PPC 6700.
Worked perfectly after a storage clear, and re-entering my MSID.

Except I can't seem to figure out how to get the Internet Sharing to work.

There doesn't seem to be a BT DUN profile anymore (as I understand there shouldn't be), but if I hit connect on the Internet Sharing I get:

Cannot Connect
Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To change your connection settings, tap settings.

I'm on a Bell network if that makes a difference, and my settings are:
PC Connection:
Bluetooth PAN
Network Connection:
data network

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

I have vista Ultimate ans Sprint and internet sharing works great for me. The way to use Internet sharing is not very intuitive but follow these steps and see if this works for you.

1.) with the phone not connected to your computer go into internet sharing and tap connect.
2.) connect your phone to your computer via usb and voila!

I have gotten bluetooth internet sharing to in XP but it is much slower and so I just use USB.
