bootloader problem
 

i push the power+record+and touch the reset button to put my phone in bootloader mode all the phone does is shut off any ideas on how i can get into bootloader mode so i can put my custom rom on. By the way my phone is a audiovox vx6700 from Verizon Wireless. please help me

You might think it is "off" with the pretty black screen. But take a flashlight to it and look closely for "Serial" and bootloader version. Then you are in bootloader.
