Pocket Office?
 

Ok so I did the kitchen, flashed my phone, etc. Now eerything came out good, except I'm lacking Pocket office, specifically word mobile and powerpoint mobile. Im pretty new to this whole thing so is there anyway to get those on there without having to actually pay microsoft?](*,)

Welcome to PPCGeeks. You will need to select those Apps in the kitchen. This will require reflashing though :(

Thanks man I'm glad to be here........lol I had hoped u wouldn't say that, my skills in the kitchen are umm lacking to say the least, I'm usually very good when it comes to windows in general but as far as the whole smartphone thing I'm a grade A n00b. When I got the kitchen it was for wm6.1 and I used helmi's selection and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to add any programs at all :angry7:

Hey, I'm a noob myself. Welcome to the club. PDAJunkie is very helpfull, as well as others.

I had the same problem when I flashed to WM 6.1. I downloaded the following and it installed without a hitch: Office2007.cab

Good luck. Don't forget to try HTC Performance for overclocking you Apache. Works great.

thanks man I appreciate it, it's funny how this is similar to a real life scenario Im having at my TKD class, 2 newbies helping each other our haha =D>

No problem. Don't know how you've got your Apache setup. One application I found indispensable is S2U2 It's advertised as a Lock/Unlock utility, but to me it has greater, even more useful functions. The best for me is the Caller ID feature and big phone Icons to answer (green) or not answer (red) buttons. If you have a picture attached to a particular phone number in your directory, it will show it full screen. So when your phone rings and you pick it up, you have no doubt who it's coming from (huge ID numbers) and you have a choice to answer or not without unlocking the phone. Since the Apache has so many buttons to press accidentally, the IPhone style unlock feature is great also.

If you decide on S2U2, let me know and I'll walk you through some settings that were a little frustrating at first, but worth the effort of figuring it out.

If you use a Bluetooth headset, let me know and I have some suggestions too.

Also, have you done any tweaks to improve battery consumption? If not, let me know and I can help there also.

Oh man Im late, but the S2U2 looks good, especially the concept of using the screen more as opposed to the buttons. I use the PCM Keyboard for my Apache, I cant mess with the slider too much b/c I got it from ebay and the slider screws were more or less stripped, it stays together tho I jus dont wanna keep opening it up repeatedly. More to the point what battery concumption tweaks could u let me in on :drunken:

S2U2 and PocketCM I love as well as PIMBackup. Cant do w/o those.
