Great holster from Seidio!

I just thought I would post where you can get a great holster specifically made for thr PPC6700. I have not ordered one yet though. I'm still looking around but this is by far the best holster I have seen! Click Here!

These guys cover our phones pretty well, I have been thinking about picking up one of their car kits, I just haven't decided which one I want to pick up.

Wideawake 05-26-2006 07:52 AM

yea they make alot of accessories and from what I hear they have great quality. May ask them to let me be an affilate, to place ads for them on the forum. And maybe they would give us a break on items! I doubt they would now but if we grow maybe, who knows :?:

Just received this leather holster from Seidio and I am here to tell you that the quality is AWESOME. The magnets don't seem to be an issue. It's a little wide to accommodate an extended battery. So far, I love it !!

i would have to say the best holster i have seen is the one that somces with the ppc6700 verizon screws u over with the holster they provide u with. I was surprised to find out verizons vx6700 is the only phone that does not come with a belt clip. the mda comes with the same case as the ppc6700.

Nice looking case. These guy really have some of the best pda accessories.

Malatesta 07-28-2006 05:04 PM

Got mine in yesterday.

It's a very solid case. Best solution for a horizontal case w/ extended battery. It just fits soo well (and no accidental redials!).

it's also cake to close...no buttoning, you just flop it over and it holds.

pzztgotbagz 07-28-2006 05:05 PM

how much was it and does it really fit the extended battery better then the oem sprint case mine fits very well but i have a habit of hanging up on people with it

Check out the Seidio's link, then read this review.

Fits the extended battery very well.

ya i just got off the phone with em there based out of houston so imma try and go pick one up and mabey a holster also

How are the magnets mounted in the case? Are there 4 or just 2 and where are they mounted? In the flap or the front of the case. This magnets issue is a real one, I have this case http://www.cases.com/ebenppc6700.htm
It has 2 very small magnets in the front to hold the flap closed. Those magnets cause problems on my PPC.

Re: extended battery

This case is a dream for the extended battery. I had a lot of redials with the stock case and a large battery...not so here. On the stock, I felt like I had to struggle to put the phone in and snap the case. This case, the phone slides in and you just flop the lid over...all one handed.

Re: Magnets

Seidio was aware of the potential problem w/magnets and our device. Having said that I have not noticed a single issue w/ the device turning on or switching to landscape and AFAIK, no one else has either.

There are 2 magnets on the flap.

I'm telling ya, closing it sooo easy and it's a solid close. Nothing is popping out.

x_v_6700 07-31-2006 07:06 AM

I've tried to get my phone to interact with the magnets, rubbing them all over the phone. I have not had it come on once.

Try it for yourself. Seidio has a 14 day return policy.

brightedge 03-07-2007 11:47 AM

So.. out came the handy dandy drill..

wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..

Hey brightedge and everyone else. brightedge says he uses and loves the plastic side clip holster. I had that type when I got my 6700 a year ago. It kept ejecting my sd card to the point were I lost one. I loved the way it worked and felt, but had to let it go with the sd card ejection problems. If the newer version fixed this problem, I would love to try it again. Please share any and all feedback.

Thanks,

brightedge 03-08-2007 09:50 AM

I've never had it eject my sd card.

dcharlip 03-08-2007 02:07 PM

I use the plastic SEIDIO holster and really like it. They have designed a special clip to hold the phone in, but it does not touch the memory card when you pull the phone out. No more projectile memory cards!

konceptz 03-08-2007 04:05 PM

Yeah, I'm a huge fan and longtime owner of these cases.

I'm gonna get the 1500mAh battery today, mostly cause I trust the company.

Jonahan 03-11-2007 02:54 AM

When I saw this thread, I ordered the case (and a pen/stylus)... I was looking for a decent, inexpensive case (my last 2 phone cases were Vaja cases, so this qualifies as "inexpensive" =) ), and I trusted the opinions posted here... I ordered it on Thursday, they shipped it on Friday, and I got it on Saturday.

The case is GREAT... I'm VERY happy with it. No more fiddling with that stupid snap. High quality, nice looking, nice fit, comfortable... Good stuff.

Thanks guys! =)

Jonathan
