Can Anyone Help Bluetooth Not Working
 

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, but I can no longer activate the bluetooth settings. I check the boxes but it will not accept the changes and the boxes return to being unchecked. I have returned my phone back to the Original Sprint rom and still the same problem. Any Ideas or help is appreciated. I Have also received error message that says "No Bluetooth Hardware Installed"

What box are you trying to check? The turn on bluetooth box or something else? What are you trying to do with your bluetooth, install a headset, GPS, or something else? We need more information please.

Sounds to me like your BT radio is fried. I have never seen that message before, and if it's still doing it on the stock ROM (try another hard reset just in case) then it's most definitely a hardware issue.

Big D I am just trying to turn on bluetooth...I have tried using thecomm icon and also going into the "bluetooth settings" I was trying to install my BT Headset...

Luv2Chill I thought the same thing about the BT radio being messed up any way I can check this...any way to fix this...Also could a file be missing..

Did you do a hard reset before and after you flashed the Sprint
ROM? If the bluetooth was working before you started flashing the ROM's, I find it unlikely that changing the ROM caused the bluetooth radio to go out. It is possible tho, but first I would make sure I got a clean re-flash and try again. Hope this helps 8)

Try taking a screen shot of those settings you are trying to change. Like luv2chill said, I also think it may be a hardware issue. Have long have you had these problems? I have to say I have been through about 4-5 devices in the last year and have never had that message come up. I think it may be maybe a damaged flash file, you may have a damaged unit, or something we haven't thought of, like a prank, :shock:....

The bluetooth stopped working...I just flshed the ROM in hopes that it would fix it.. I was using Sairdnoirs 3.5 V6 when it stopped working...Tried sereval customs roms with no luck then flashed the original sprint..no luck again......Do you think re-flashing will help or is there anything else I can try...How do I check if the BT radio file or registry settings are present...

The settings are check boxes which turn on bluetooth and make the device discoverable

same prob and how I fixed it
 

I have the same problem sometimes usually when I am charging at 400 cycles via airplane power.

The solution which is weird is to cycle the airplane mode several times delete all bluetooth devices and cycle airplaen mode couple more times and then a soft reset or two.

Then go back and add bluetooth devices. Bluetooth works.
