downgrade fail - bootloader version 2.05
 

Hello FELLO APACHE OWNERS !!!

I just got a good verizon 6700 apache on ebay
it loaded up and I began fixing it up
as I began to get used to the phone I began interested in wanted to upgrade it to WM6
I loaded it in BOOTLOADER and the phone said "Serial - V. 2.05"

I tried downgrading the bootloader... since to my knowledge, that is what I think I have to do (complete noob sentence) ;)

But after reading alot of information I found I tutorial on this site explaining how to do it using MTTY 1.42

I loaded it up ... typed "task 28 55aa"
and my phone doesn't boot up anymore

still have bootloader 2.05 on
can't turn on
can only go into bootloader

please someone help me reset and try the right procedure ...

What WM6 are you trying to use? The premade Helmi roms are super buggy! Use the kitchen, downgrading isn't required.

how do i get it to connect ?
I get an error almost every time I do anything

(hook a noob up with a tutorial is what im asking) :)

the build won't update
what do I open with kitchen ??
how do I load the new rom ??

The updater doesn't work. Get the Apache Helmi kitchen and PPCKitchen OEM from Here. Place Them in, never mind watch my video on 'Temp PPCKitchen.org kix" Link in my signature. If you want my config file then download and save this text file attached and save to desktop. Then when the kitchen asks for desktop find that text file on the desktop and select it. When the Track Me error comes up just hit "ok". You may need to edit carrier and botloader verisons. Also if on Vista disable USB Connections in Mobile Device Center.

Ok buildos is loading good now
I picked my selections ...
but when I try to build the rom it loads then says "no dsm file found"

I run build rom and no updater starts or ne thing
what do i do next !!!

my rom doesn't have a .dsm file ....
wtf is that ??
