address book

i have a quick question about adding contacts into the address book. so as an example i have multiple contacts that live in one home. i add all their numbers into my phone. for additional cell phones i was adding the users as

eg..
Category
Home +1 (123) 123-4567 x (John)
Mobile +1 (453) 145-1654 x (Chris)

the problem is when i go to send a txt msg because of the additional info at the end i cant send it. has anyone else had to put name's next to their contacts and if so how?

thanks,
redz

I know that Windows Mobile does not allow for this feature. I can point you in the right direction..
Can't you click new message in messages and click enter on To: then select the contact and clicking right/left until it's on the number you want?

Why are you making one entry phone book entry per household?

You should make phone book entry per person.

That way each person has their own seperate entry in the phone book like it should be, and how it is supported by the software.

I was able to press a letter in the contracts and it would go to that letter category. I installed the Stock AKU 3.5 and now when i press a letter in contacts it highlights the first digit of the number... i have to type in the first two letter to get to the proper contact. can anyone tell me what is wrong?
