Can someone please answer my question?

I'm not sure why, but no one will answer my question. I have tried in 2 different places over on howardforums. I am unable to open a lot of the programs I get. It says it is not a trusted or signed certificate. I have done some research on this before, with no luck. I am hoping that someone can answer this question for me, because I am unable to use some of the programs that came with AKU 3.5, and it is starting to get old. Thanks

Which 3.5 ROM are you using?

Hard reset and don't let the customizations run. Should work then. I ran into this same issue.

Actually, this problem is almost always BECAUSE you don't let the customizations run. One of the customizations (one of the Cert ones I think) does whatever is necessary to get that "This is not a trusted program..." crap to go away. Read the threads about what is necessary in an extended_ROM. Then follow those instructions to only run what is needed. That should fix your problem.

I also think i got the same message running some applications before the .net issue in the custom roms was fixed. Isnt that the same message live search was giving people with the early 3.3 builds?

Sorry it took so long to answer,
I have been out of town, but I am not sure which one it is, because it is on my laptop at home. I know it is called nojunk or something like that, and I did not let the customizations happen. I will try to look for an answer to this problem, and if all else fails, I will reflash it and let the customizations happen.

If you did not let the customizations run, then just hard reset and let them run. You should not need to reflash.

Oh yeah, I should have known that. I might do that today. Thanks

Or, you could avoid a hard reset by just going into the extended_ROM folder and running specifically the necessary .cabs, as listed by Colonel in his "Official List of Necessary ExtRom Cabs For Each Carrier" topic.
http://www.ppcgeeks.com/official-lis...ier-t4189.html He even provides a link to download the necessary .cabs so that you don't even have to figure out how to get into your extended_ROM.

Thank you very much, that is exactly what I was looking for. I downloaded VZWProvision_Signed.sa.CAB. I am hoping that is the one I want. I am going to try this as soon as I get home, but my ? is, do I need to unlock the ext rom and do the config.txt thing, as described in the customizing your extended rom thread. I am assuming not, since you said I could install the necessary cab w/o a hard reset. Thanks
