if I clone my sprint a900's esn to my alltel apache...

then put a sprint rom on it will everything work normally? calls, vision, etc.

or putting the sprint rom on the alltel first then cloning the esn

is putting a sprint rom on the alltel apache even possible?

of course u could use sprints os (nk.nbf) and the extrom (ms_.nbf). I'm not sure about flashing the rdio because ppl have bricked their phones doing so not being able to even load a radio rom. I would think u would need to change prls but maybe not, since u can roam on alltel network anyway. I've thought about this but never tried since I only have a sprint 6700 and sprint service. My try it with a sprint one one alltel soon tho when I'm eligible for my alltel employee plan. Best of luck and if u try it, report back here with findings.

If you have an Alltel PPC-6700, you can just put it on U Prepaid. Install the Alltel 40007 PRL (via ##PRL) and you have free data roaming on Sprint with no airtime charges. That's what I did, and I don't even need my Sprint account anymore.
