How To: Yet Another Call Tone Guide. *Simple*
 

All you have to do is download the .cab attached and install.

go to start/settings/connections/connections/advanced/select networks.

In the first drop down box select Call Tones.

Click Edit. Right Click on CallTone Connect.

Select Connect it should pop up and say connecting to CallTone Connect. To make sure its right tap ur signal and make sure its connected to that. It may take a couple a times to get it to connect.

Then open PIE and browse to http://vision.sprintpcs.com/ and refresh until you see the paul wall link, click it and go to call tones.

Bookmark the Call Tone page link and then you can uninstall the .cab and ur all set.

its asking for a password and username..?

i bypassed entering any username and password and was connected to call tone but when i put the vision link in i got an error. the paul wal link worked but when i selected call tone i got the error message again.

u sure its not restarting ur data session when pie is launched? and yea u leave the fields blank and just click ok.

I duplicated ur error. With the sprint connection u can reach the paul wall link. But if ur not connected to the Call Tone one with proxy then it will not go further and give that error. try again. best of luck!

i cannot get the connection to stay up on the calll tones connection. i dont see anything in the proxy settings. no ip address or anything.

well i got to the paul wall page but cacnnot proceed past that page; i get an error "there has been an application error,please contact the asministrator.

If ur running a non custom rom that doesn't have the sprint settings builtin then delete the sprint conection and use the call tone one.

try this open pie, then connect to the call tone one. double checking that's the one ur connected too. use ur ie key to launch pie and then go to the site.

as previously stated u can go the paul wall link no problem without a proxy. but to get to the call tnes u must be using the connection with the proxy.

In Network Management after you select "Call Tones," click "Edit..." then click the "Proxy Settings" tab. You have to select "This network connects to the Internet" and "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet." Then type in "68.28.31.33" under proxy server. This worked for me.

does this cost anything? the calltones that is?

awesome it works! I did mess with it for like 15 minutes before reading the directions again and seeing that you had to do a manual connect from the connection mananager
