I just bought an Apache yesterday and was wondering what they newest stable rom is and also if there is a sticky on how to load roms. Thank you

ROM stability is a function of what you cook into it. Take a look here first. But there's a ton of info on the forum you should read. Welcome to Apacheland...

The instructions will tell you how to make (cook) your own personal ROM in the kitchen. Everyone has their own preferences of what they use their 6700s for and add different ingredients. Well, maybe I misunderstood your initial Q. Did you mean the newest stock WM5 ROM or WM6/6.1?

I wanted a custom rom but did not want to cook one myself for the first try i figured i could use one that has been tested and gotten good feedback but i want it to be WM6.1.

There is no sotck WM6.1 ROM. The carriers have never released WM6/WM6.1 You need to use the kitchen.

Sorry for all the questions i think i am going to try my own rom later tonight i was wondering if anyone had a link to the most up to date factory rom just so i have it for a back up. Thank you for all the help
