I'd try that, but I don't have the insurance.

You don't need insurance. I don't have it. Get it as a replacement. Play real nice and dumb and kill the lady with respect. Also, make sure you get a lady. Hang up if it's a man.

Actually, since a lot of people think my phone voice is feminine, I can work it both ways.

So... tell me more of this "removing the MMS" solution.

I'm assuming I'd need to downgrade to the WM5 ROM it shipped with?

Whatever works...hard reset and when it says "OEM custmizations will install in threee seconds" soft reset right away. No more MMS.

Neat.

Should I remove the Extended ROM bits before I send it back, so they don't hard reset, say this works, and bill me?

I'm on now.

Nuts. I don't think it's gonna happen. Guy's being polite, but saying 'if you didn't buy it at a Sprint store yourself, I can't really help you."

Haha I knew it would work! Don't send the old one back. I always keep mine...I only sent back one that was really beat up and almost non-functional. They won't bill you, C'mon they have thousands of these phones and what good is a four year old model gonna do them?

Sorry for the off topic comment, but we should have an "out of context" thread for laughs.

I'm more than a little wary of that. I don't know if I want to risk it.

Wat would I say if they did bill?
