AKU 3.5 and the Data Disconnect button

Hi guys, using verizonguys 3.5 ROM, and I noticed by using the flags tag in my registry to add the data connect timer as well as the disconnect button, but the button does not appear although the timer does. Anyone know how to make the button appear? I hate to have to go into the stock comm manager program to end all my data calls, as hitting the red hang-up button also doesnt disconnet the Data session.

thanks,

AJB

The reg entry to enable the disconnect option is:

1) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone]
2) New Value: Flags2
3) Set Flags2 to 10 in hex or 16 in dec
4) Exit your reg editor, and the disconnect option will be there when you click the EV icon.

I have verified that this works in 3.5rc4 Sprint.

Flags 2

I have the D Word value Flags2 there as well, with a decimal value of 16. Using the Verizon EVDO service, clicking the EVDO icon only yields the time connected for me, and not the disconnect option....grrr.

try tapping both icons in the titlebar. I know that if I tap the signal bars it only shows the connected time, but if I actually tap the Ev icon it shows the disconnect button too.

Then you'll have some competition since I too was frustrated why the fact that I couldn't see the disconnect button even though the registry entry was set correctly.....

Thanks Colonel for pointing that out.
