Jeff Kirvin.....
Will you be doing a clean and simple ROM for Sprint, when the kitchen is released for the unified ROM? I thought I read that you would be, but also just wanted to ask you too.
BTW I know that you don't know me, but I wanted to extend a sincere thanks to you for your hard work! You have made owning my 6700 fun again! And now actually practical to use! Thank You! |
you should send him a PM, dont post in here where he may or may not read this.

Yes, I'll be updating all my ROMs after the kitchen is officially released.

It's just that his ROMs are truly clean and simple, and easy to install. I have over 20 little apps loaded in the ExtRom, a few in main memory, and still have over 22M of space for whatever, with great battery life and ease of operation. One of my weekly programs has a saying: Stay with what works and the winners. :D |
The instructions on how to load an nbf are on the site, you just have to use the search......
I doubt the sig is trying to demean you , its just so you dont accidentally brick your phone without knowing what to do. Then start whining about it because it was made easy for you and now you have no idea how to fix it. This ROM business isn't for grandma.... |

I prefer the simplicity of Jeff's compilations. A lot of less-than-rocket-scientists like our PPCs, do want the most advanced programming, and sincerely appreciate whoever compiles a ROM that's easy to install. :blackeye: |

.nbfs are easy to flash, heck that's how it was all done before ppl/me started making winrar sfx exes. as stated above alittle searching and ur off! Lets be friendly and not flame here.....we all want the same/here for the same reason. And that's getting the most out of our devices!

I have no idea where this thread diverged to, but I'll voice another hurray for Jeff Kirvin's Stock ROM image. It's great! Can't wait to get his latest one as soon as the 3.5 bugs are stamped out. I like the fact that it's stock except for the new theme/sounds, which are so much easier on the eyes and ears than the WM5 stuff.
