How to upload a ROM
 

Ok, I know im ofically n00bifying mysqlf, but how do i place a rom onto my phone. The RUU might work, but i dont know where it looks for the rom, and if it does find it, it gives error 102 Checksum Error (The one in the BuildOS.msi). HOw do I place the rom onto my phone. I think i fianlly made it, but what do I do now?

It should start device update utility and go though the normal steps.

It does, but whenever it runs it it crashes because it "cannot find the rom". I just want to know where to put the rom file. it found a really old rom i made, but i cant seem to figure out where that is. :) Annoying...

Are you going through the steps of custom cooking the ROM with the Kitchen and while it is building the ROM it is giving a text file of everything it is doing and then when it is done with that is starts up the RUU?

If you have another ROM already made you dont HAVE to put it in the directory for BuildOS. It in itself should have a RUU.exe

Okay. Other things. Are you you using a hub? I tried with a hub last night and it said RUU stopoped working and then said error download ROM.

weedahoe, I can build the rom, it just wont upload the image.

PDAPhoneJunkie, Im not using a hub, I made sure. Again, ive uploaded to it, but it was an old image. I think im using an old RUU that recognize 6.1

nobody has any idea?
