Removing Programs

I just recently upgrade to WM 6.1 using PPC kitchen and installed what ever looked intresting. Now I wanted to get rid of unwanted programs, but I can't. I get an error message that the program could not be removed but it would remove it from the list. I've tried also via synccenter and all I get is a list of installed programs and they all say they are 0kb. Any suggestion on programs to use?

Have you soft reset after any of these attempts? The other thing you may have to do is go into the registry and remove the registry keys.

I've tried soft resets. There are some programs that don't even show up in the remove program setting side. I want to get rid of them so not to have them any more. I also wanted to get rid of the Ipod keyboard theme and want to know how?

Well, you can't delete programs from ROM (Read Only Memory) that you added in the kitchen. If you want to get rid of these, you have to remove them in the kitchen and reflash a new ROM.

You might also look into either MemMaid or SKTools to get at those pesky programs.

I'm with gambatte. I did not think that anything could remove ROM programs / files. That is why I build my roms clean with only programs I know I use and add the rest later.

I quit using the default manager and now use MemMaid exclusively for deleting applications. I also suffered from the no listed syndrome.
