Bypassing WAP proxy when using MMS

Hi All,

I am part of the PPC6700 community that is using Cricket Wireless as a provider and we all have the same problem. We get unlimited WAP using a Cricket WAP proxy (wap mycricket com), but when using ArcSoft MMS, we want it to go to the MMS server (mms mycricket com) without using the WAP proxy. Right now, we can only use MMS or WAP Browser, but not both. If we set the proxy, every WAP call goes to the proxy, including MMS and proxy fails to route traffic back into the Cricket network.

- Is there a way to put a proxy exception in Windows Mobile 5?
- Is there a WAP browser that can have it's proxy set separately (Tried Opera and I can't set it)
- Is there a way to tell ArcSoft MMS not to use the WAP proxy?
- Anyone working at Cricket that could fix the proxy? :)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,
Ylian

Ok, the latest version of Opera 8.65 no longer has separate proxy settings. But 8.60 does, so, installing that version will fix my problem.

Any other better solution is appreciate.

Thanks,
Ylian
