SMS imput method problems
 

my problem is that i cant use anything besides the keyboard, onscreen keyboard or block recognizer for text messaging:angry7:.

i would like to be able to use transcriber and on screen phonepad.

any one have a solution/fix

You probably need to either a)install them or b)find a wm6 build that has them in it.

i installed the phone pad, i have all the other ones as well, when i go to select them in the text screen nothing happens. im thinking its a reg problem.

Probably. I swear, half those apps either don't work or crash an Apache...

i don't consider it a app really, is a input method so its os or not??
i just noticed that they ones that don't work for texting don't work in word or notes either
which makes me think it a reg problem even more, il snoop around in the registry and see what i can find

I didn't mean specifically apps. I meant the options in general. Diamond dialer skin killed my phone yesterday. Some HTC apps freeze my Apache, some drivers keep it from booting. That kinda stuff.

i see. maybe re flash the phone with a clean version, then install the transcriber and all they other ones. that might fix it.

i never used kitchen, is it complicated? i would love to just put what i need in a flash

Just follow the directions and it's pretty simple. You select your bootloader version, your carrier, and pick what apps and stuff to load into it. As long as you don't overload the rom with too many apps, you should be fine.
