I got the DSOD!!
:x I got DSOD and Bright Screen Of Death(BSOD). Here's what happened. Today I installed three programs; Pocket Universe, Wisbar, and Battery Pack Pro. Everything works fine after all the installations and few hours later I noticed the ppc is slowing down and then it freeze. So I did a soft reset and it was ok but slow. I then turned it off and then turn it on..I got DSOD. I had to do a soft reset to bring the screen back. At this time, I uninstalled Pocket Universe. Did a soft reset and it worked but also slow. So I turned it off and on again but this time I got BSOD. This bright screen just freeze there unless I hit the soft reset. I wanted to know had anybody encountered this problem with any of these three programs? Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have only tried wisbar and it does slow it down, but mine didn't freeze. I would remove them and install one program at a time, and trying it to see if it causes any problems.

That's I am planning to do right now. I hope I could keep Wisbar b/c I really like it.

I purchased Battery Pack Pro and after install I had all kinds of problems. Nothing like you are describing screen wise. But Definite slow downs freeze ups, and other strange problems. Battery Pack Pro is a cool looking program with lots of options, But I don't think it was designed for our PPC 6700's. I do not recommend this program to anyone with a 6700.

Lol.. You should try it out first before you buy it. That's not a cheap program. Got to admit that this is a very cool program. I would have cough up $30 for it if it wouldn't cause any conflict with the ppc.

Like BigD5 said, steer clear of Battery Pack Pro..
That's my guess for your DSOD. |
OK, I uninstalled Battery Pack Pro and everything is back to normal again. One of my coworker is using it on his Cingular 8125 with no problem. Well, both the 8125 and our 6700 use WM5. I wonder why it works with the 8125 but not ours. But anyway, stay away from this program.
