Registry Error while cooking LennySH
 

Noob trying to cook a LennySH ROM on my xv6700. The build status hangs at creating the registry and an error popup claims I am missing the boot.rgu in my C:\documents and settings\blah blah......\ROM\XIP directory. Can anyone help?

Well I've never heard of this error but I can tell one thing that you will NOT like Lenny's ROM. I tried it and I will take Helmi's any day. Just my experience though.

Thanks for the heads up but I get the same error with Helmi's ROM as well. I even opened the rar and manually placed the boot.rgu in the directory and it still failed.

Okay are you using WM6.1 kitchen or WM6?

6.1 kitchen. I tried cooking on my other XP box (service pack 2)and it worked magnificently. I know I'm late to the party but this stuff is great! Do you think service pack 3 has anything to do with my errors? Oh, and so I don't waste any more time searching, am I correct in assuming that as of now, there is no way to flash my radio ROM with a Sprint ROM and enjoy GPS? Thank you for your quick responses

SP3 has nothing to do with it. I've been flashing w/ sp3 since it was released. And I actually prefer LennySH's ROM over helmi_c's ROM. What build are you trying to cook? If you are having the problem with both builds, it is going to be a buildOS issue, not a build version.

I think its the box I'm building on because everything else is identical on both PCs - same buildOS, updater,etc. My PC with XP service pack 2 successfully cooks and my other PC with sp3 gets those weird errors thus the comment about sp3.
